Submitting your web site manually

There are people that would rather submit their web sites one at a time for a number of different reasons. Some engines and directories will not accept automated submissions, or people feel there is a better chance of getting the correct information to the indexed in the engine/directory, there is also the knowledge that you know your web site was submitted to that particular engine or directory.

Whatever your reason it is a good practice but be can be very time consuming.

Now for all of you folks that are in an enterprising mood I have a few links that you can manually submit your web sites to.

These web sites have large listings of search engines and directories, so if I missed any, which I know I have, you should be able to find more at Search Engine Colossus.

You think there should be a search engine or directory listed and it isn't, shoot me an e-mail with the URL and name, and I will look into adding it.
